I sometimes encounter “The specified path has an unexpected status” error when I start SVN Update. You can fix this error in the following way. Problem solving Select the folder which has “svn:external” configuration. Open [TortoiseSVN]-[Properties]. Remove the exsisting “svn:external” configuration. (Do not forget to take note of original configuration!) Close the Properties dialog. Start SVN Update.

I’ve just started using KiCad for my personal electronics project. But I couldn’t find a part which I wanted to use in the original library. I googled the way to convert .bxl file that is often provided by parts manufacturer to KiCad library type. The most ways I found were using EAGLE and I didn’t like it. Here is the way I did. I write this post as my memo, but it might help someone.
When you work on a device which has network connectivity, you might need to change IP address of a network adaptor on your laptop quite often. The usual way to change IP address is using the following dialog. Fig1_Internet_Protocol_Version_4_Properties_Dialog Nothing new. But there is one thing. If you use this way, windows requires you to restart your PC. Only after restarting Windows, new network configuration will be applied.
I got a trouble when I powered ON a circuit with 555 which is used in monostable mode. The schematic is as follows. The microprocessor sets Trig in to Low every several hundreds of milliseconds for few milliseconds. Watchdog out is supposed to be Low only when the microprocessor fails to set the Trig in to Low within 1.
555 has been widely used for more than 40 years as a timer IC. There are bipolar type which is original, and CMOS type which is lower power consumption than original bipolar type. 555 can be used to make 10us to 100s timer which is configured by externally added R and C.
